Ingredients
- 4 maquereau fillets (10 X 20 cm)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 400 ml of lager beer
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- In a small bowl, combine the oil, garlic, pepper, paprika and thyme. Mix well and spread the mixture all over the maquereau fillets.
- Place the fillets in an ovenproof dish. Pour the beer over the fish and top with the sliced onion.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the onions are golden brown.
- Sprinkle with the chopped parsley and serve.
Recommended Sides
