Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups (180 g) ground almonds
- ½ teaspoon (2 g) baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon (1 g) ground cinnamon
- ⅓ cup (75 ml) almond milk
- ¾ cup (135 g) granulated coconut sugar
- ½ cup (120 ml) almond butter
- ½ tablespoon (7 ml) almond extract
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the ground almonds, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, coconut sugar, almond butter, and almond extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and give it a good stir.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop out the macaroon batter and drop it evenly onto a parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Bake the macaroons for 14-16 minutes. Joke: Remember, ESCAPE the macaroons once they’re done baking, or they’ll get burned!
- Allow the macaroons to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
