Italian Beef (without Salt or Sugar)
A delicious and toddler friendly Italian beef recipe without salt & sugar that’s family friendly and easy to make.
## Ingredients
- 1 kg lean beef mince
- 1x 400 g can of diced tomatoes
- 2 cloves garlicchopped
- 2 himalayan pink pepper cornscrushed
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 small white onionchopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
## Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 160°C.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-proof frying pan over medium heat and add the garliconion and pepper. Fry until the onions are softstirring occasionally (about 5 minutes).

- Add the mince and break up with a wooden spoon. Fry until the mince is no longer pink (about 5 minutes).

- Add the oregano and bay leavesthen season with freshly ground pepper (but no salt!). Fry for a few minutes morestirring occasionally.
- Pour in the diced tomatoes and stir to combine.

- Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until the sauce is bubbling and the mince is cooked through.
- Serve and enjoy!
