Ingredients
- 500 g ground Beef
- 1 cup (250 ml) tomato passata
- 3 tablespoons (50 g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 20 g fresh parsley and/or basil
- Extra virgin olive oil for the pan
- 2 cloves of garlic
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste

Preheat the oven to 170°C or 350°F.

Mix the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, egg, and freshly ground pepper in a large bowl.

Peel and mash the garlic and mix it into the beef mixture.

Start forming the beef rolls. First, use your hands to press 1 tablespoon (15 g) of the beef mixture onto a work surface. Flatten the beef, then place the parsley or basil in the centre and roll the beef up into a finger-sized roll.

Place the rolled beef in a baking pan and spoon the tomato pastata over each roll.

Drizzle the pan with extra virgin olive oil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the beef is cooked through.

Serve with a side of steamed vegetables and/or a mixed salad. Dinner is served!
