Ingredients
- 515 g (3 1/2 cups) bread flour
- 320 mL (1 1/3 cups) warm water
- 20 mL (4 tsp) yeast
- 10 mL (2 tsp) black olive oil
- 5 mL (1 tsp) dough improver
- 5 mL (1 tsp) rosemary
- 5 mL (1 tsp) oregano
- 5 mL (1 tsp) basil
- 5 mL (1 tsp) garlic
- pinch of salt
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the bread flour, yeast, and warm water.
- Knead the dough for 5 minutes. Just Knead it. You’ll get the hang of it soon enough.
- Add the black olive oil, rosemary, oregano, basil, garlic, and pinch of salt and knead the dough for an additional 5 minutes. This dough loves a little music and movement. Dance while kneading for best results.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and roll the dough out using your hands, making sure it is about 1/2 cm (1-2 cm) thick.
- Using your finger tips, make several small indentations in the dough. No baby should be this impressionable!
- Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20 minutes, or until the focaccia is golden brown.
- Let the focaccia cool before serving. Enjoy!
Recommended Sides
- Fresh salad
- Roasted vegetables
- Creamy pasta
