- 5 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil
- 3g fresh chopped Rosemary
- 1 teaspoon of black pepper powder
Directions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast and black pepper powder. Stir together until blended.
-
Pour in the warm water and start kneading the mixture with your hands.
“Kids, this part is where you can get your hands dirty! Knead the dough as long as you can - about 10 minutes - to make sure it is not sticky.”
-
Add the olive oil to the dough and knead for another 5 minutes.
-
Now add the chopped rosemary and mix well.
-
Place the dough on a lightly floured surface, form a ball and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
-
Now the fun part: Shape the Focaccia! Place the risen dough on a floured surface and roll into a rectangle. Place it on a lightly oiled baking sheet or pizza tray.
-
Make little indentations with your finger on the dough and add a few drops of olive oil on top.
“Little chefs, don’t forget to make funny faces or your favorite shapes on the Focaccia dough! Wait! This should be a competition!”
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden on top.
