Ingredients
- 250g Plain flour
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 150ml lukewarm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons crème fraîche
- 200g sweet potato, peeled and grated
- 100g onion, finely chopped
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
- In a large mixing bowl, mix together the plain flour, yeast, and lukewarm water to form a dough. Add the olive oil and knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- Pour the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and roll it into a circle about 30 cm (12 inches) in diameter. Place it on a lightly greased baking sheet and set it aside.
- In a bowl, mix together the crème fraîche, grated sweet potato, and chopped onion. Spread this mixture on top of the dough, leaving a 2 cm (1 inch) border around the edges.
- Bake the Flammkuchen in the oven for 15 minutes.
