- 2 cups (370 g) of plain flour
- 1 teaspoon (7 g) of baking powder
- 2 cups (350 ml) of non-dairy milk
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) of sugar
- 2figs (100 g), peeled, chopped
- 2 tablespoons (30 g) of raisins
- 2 tablespoons (14 g) of slivered almonds
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of apple juice
Directions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, add the flour, baking powder, non-dairy milk and vegetable oil. Mix until everything is evenly distributed.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar. Gradually add to the bowl with the flour mixture, stirring constantly.

Add the figs, raisins and almonds, stirring until everything is evenly distributed.

Add the apple juice and mix until the batter is smooth.

Grease a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish with butter or oil.

Pour the batter into the dish and spread it evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool before serving.
