Dahi Papdi Chaat

Ingredients
- 150 g chickpeas (soaked overnight in water, well cooked and drained)
- 100 g potatoes (boiled, peeled and cubed)
- 150 g boiled green peas
- 1 tomato (finely chopped)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 2 green chilis (seeded and finely chopped)
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
- 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon chaat masala
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 12 g ghee (clarified butter)
- 4 g black pepper
- 2 g cumin seeds
- 8 g salt
- 250 ml curd (or yogurt, chilled)
- 20 pieces of papdis
Directions
- In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, potatoes, green peas, tomato, onion, green chilis and cilantro.
- Add the roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, chili powder, lemon juice, ghee, black pepper, cumin seeds and salt into the mixture and mix well.
- Take two plates and arrange four papdis on each one.
- Top the papdis with the mixture and drizzle the curd over the top.
- Finally, garnish with a sprinkle of cilantro and a few drops of lemon juice.

The Dahi Papdi Chaat is best served with some crunchy potato chips or a tangy chutney!
