Ingredients
- 4-5 pieces of Cabillaud (Codfish): 1 kg
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil for frying
- 2 lemons
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 300 ml of white wine
- 250 ml of double cream
- 50 g of softened butter
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200° Celsius.
- Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Place the cod on the tray.
- Squeeze the lemons over the cod.
- Rub the crushed garlic over the cod.
- Pour over the white wine.
- Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
- In a small saucepan heat up the olive oil.
- Add the double cream.
- Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the butter and stir until melted.
- Pour the sauce over the cod.
- Serve while still warm.
