Ingredients
- 500g of brussels sprouts (about 3 cups)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C)
- Clean and trim the ends of the brussels sprouts, then cut them into halves.
- Place them onto a large greased baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle garlic powder and ground black pepper, then toss everything together to coat the brussels sprouts.
- Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 25 minutes, stirring once in the middle of the cooking time.
- (Dad/Parent): Supervise the kids and make sure they don’t get too close to the hot oven during this step!
- When done, remove the baking sheet from the oven and serve the Brussels Sprouts right away.
