Ingredients
- 2 kg Beef Roast
- 250 ml Beef Broth
- 10 cloves Garlic, minced
- 4 Sprigs Rosemary
- 2 tsp Thyme
- 2 Bay Leaves
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Optional: Juice of 1 lemon
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 190°C.
- Rub the roast with the olive oil and season it with salt, pepper, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves and lemon juice (if using).
- Put the roast in a roasting pan and pour in the beef broth.
- Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven and bake for 2 hours or until the internal temperature of the roast is 75°C.
- Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
