Ingredients
- 1.4 kilogram potatoes
- 375 milliliters of unsweetened, plain quark
- Ground pepper, to taste
- 1 teaspoon oil
Directions
- Preheat oven to 215 Celsius.
- Wash and peel the potatoes. If your 3 year old isn’t too confident with a veg peeler, show them how to use it, but be prepared to do most of it yourself.
- Cut the potatoes in half lengthways, and then cut them into thick slices (around 2 cm). Make sure they are all the same size for the best results.

- Drizzle the oil over the potatoes and sprinkle pepper, to taste.

- Heat up the quark in a pan, stirring constantly so that it doesn’t burn.
- Place the cooked potato slices on plates.
- Pour the heated quark over each plate.
- Sprinkle pepper over each plate for a bit of added flavor.
