Date and Walnut Cake

Ingredients
- 150g fresh dates (Take the pit out and cut into small cubes)
- 50g walnuts (Crushed)
- 2 free-range eggs
- 1tsp baking powder
- 100g whole wheat flour
- 50ml coconut oil (Melted)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Grease a single layer cake tin with butter or coconut oil.
- In a small bowl, combine dates and walnuts and set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, baking powder, and wheat flour until combined.
- Stir in the melted coconut oil and the date/nut mixture until fully combined.
- Pour mixture into the pre-greased cake tin and bake in preheated oven for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
