Ingredients
- 500g fresh squid, cleaned and cut into rings
- 100g cornstarch
- 1 egg
- 100ml milk
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Vegetable oil for frying
Directions
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until well combined. This will be your wet mixture.
- Place the cornstarch in another shallow bowl. This will be your dry mixture.
- Dip each squid ring into the wet mixture, then coat it in the cornstarch. Repeat for all the squid rings.
- In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
