Ingredients
- 2 Camembert cheese (120 g), room temperature
- 150 gr of cream cheese
- 45 gr of butter
- 2 teaspoons (tsp) of sweet paprika (goulish)
- 1 garlic cloves
- 2 - 4 teaspoons of onion powder
- 2 teaspoon of caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon of red poppy seeds
- 4 slices of rye bread
- ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
Directions

Begin by grating the Camembert cheese and adding it to a bowl.

In a small saucepan, add the butter and cream cheese and heat until melted and mixed together.

To the bowl of Camembert cheese, add the melted butter and cream cheese, sweet paprika, garlic cloves, onion powder, caraway seeds, red poppy seeds, nutmeg and freshly ground pepper.

Stir the mixture together until all ingredients are combined.

Place the mixture into a bowl and place into the fridge to cool for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, toast the rye bread slices, and allow to cool.

Remove the Obatzda from the fridge and spread on the toasted bread slices.

Serve the Obatzda with rye toast right away.
