Ingredients
- 4 medium-sized apples (about 300 g)
- 2 tablespoons of butter (30 g)
- 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon (12 g)
- 2 tablespoons of ground nutmeg (24 g)
- ½ teaspoon of ground cloves (2 g)
- 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs (30 g)
- ¼ cup of chopped walnuts (30 g)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 350 °F (180 °C).
- Wash and dry the apples, remove the cores and cut each of them into halves.
- In a small bowl, mix together the butter, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until they form a paste.
- In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, chopped walnuts and the mixture made in step 3.
- Spread the mixture over the halved apples.
- Place the stuffed apples on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
- Bake for 30 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
