Ingredients
- 4 pears (medium sized, ripe but still firm)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup of almond meal
- 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons of nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/4 cup of almond milk

Preheat the oven to 190C.

Peel and core the pears and cut into small bite-sized pieces.

In a large bowl, crack the eggs and whisk good for 1 minute.

Add the vegetable oil and whisk for another minute, then pour in the almond milk and whisk until combined.

Sift together the flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, almond meal into the bowl and stir until everything is combined.

Grease a 9-inch round baking pan with the butter and pour in the batter. Spread it evenly.
