Ingredients
- 200 g Cottage Cheese (Paneer), cubed
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Mustard Seeds
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- 1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 Dried Red Chilli peppers
- 2 pieces of Cinnamon
- 5 Green Cardamoms
- 2 cloves
- 1 medium sized Onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium sized Green Bell Pepper, diced
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon ground Coriander powder
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 2 tablespoons Coriander Leaves, finely chopped
Directions
- Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat.
- Once the oil is hot, add the mustard, fenugreek, cumin seeds, red chilli peppers, cinnamon, cardamoms, and cloves. Fry for 1 minute.
- Add the onion to the pan and fry for 4-5 minutes, until it is golden brown.
- Add the bell pepper, grater masala, coriander powder, and turmeric powder to the pan and mix.
- Add the cottage cheese cubes and mix gently to coat with the spices. Fry for 5-7 minutes, stirring continuously.
- Finally, add the chopped coriander and give the mixture one last stir.
- Serve the Achari Paneer hot with roti or naan.
