Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- ¼ cup unsalted almonds
- ¼ cup unsalted pistachios
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 2 teaspoons rose water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
- 2 tablespoons sliced blanched almonds, to garnish
Directions
- Put the milk, almonds and pistachios in a food processor and process until they are well blended.
- In a saucepan, combine the ground milk and nut mixture with the lemon juice, rose water, cornstarch, honey and cardamom. Stir and heat over low heat until thickened.
- Remove from heat and divide mixture into four serving bowls.
- Garnish each bowl with some of the sliced blanched almonds.
- Serve warm to your little one! (Be warned, be prepared for a little mess!)
