Ingredients

  • 3 ears of corn
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of bonito flakes
  • 5 grams of konbu seaweed, crumbled

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).

  2. Cut the corn into 2-inch (5 cm) pieces.

  3. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  4. Add the garlic and ginger and stir-fry for about 1 minute.

  5. Add the corn and bonito flakes and continue to stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.

  6. Add the konbu and continue to stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes.

  7. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  8. Once finished, serve the Yaki Tomorokoshi hot and enjoy.
