Ingredients

  • 150 g Dark Chocolate
  • 6 Eggs
  • 50 g Milk
  • 40 g Butter
  • 100 g All-Purpose Flour

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C).
  • Separate egg whites and egg yolks. Make sure there are no bits of egg yolks in the egg whites!
  • In a small pot, melt the butter and chocolate together over low-medium heat. As it’s melting, keep stirring to ensure everything melts evenly. Joke: “In the pot, we’re having a party!”
  • In a large bowl, beat the egg whites with a whisk until they form a fluffy foam.
  • Add the egg yolks, butter and chocolate mixture, milk, and flour to the bowl of egg whites. Kids can help mix the ingredients together.
  • Grease a ramekin or oven-safe bowl with butter.
  • Pour the mixture into the ramekin or oven-safe bowl.
  • Place the ramekin or oven-safe bowl into the preheated oven.
  • Cook the soufflé for approximately 25 minutes.
