Ingredients

  • 500g of brussels sprouts (about 3 cups)
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C)
  2. Clean and trim the ends of the brussels sprouts, then cut them into halves.
  3. Place them onto a large greased baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle garlic powder and ground black pepper, then toss everything together to coat the brussels sprouts.
  5. Place the baking sheet in the oven and roast for 25 minutes, stirring once in the middle of the cooking time.
  6. (Dad/Parent): Supervise the kids and make sure they don’t get too close to the hot oven during this step!
  7. When done, remove the baking sheet from the oven and serve the Brussels Sprouts right away.
