Ingredients

  • 1 kg Roast Beef
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 3 sprigs Fresh Thyme
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Oregano

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

  2. Wash the roast beef in cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

  3. In a small bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil with the ground cumin, ground black pepper, and ground ginger. Mix well.

  4. Rub the mixture all over the roast beef.

  5. Place the roast beef in an oven safe dish.

  6. Peel and mince the garlic cloves.

  7. Add the minced garlic, fresh thyme leaves, fresh parsley, and dried oregano to the remaining olive oil in the bowl.

  8. Mix well and rub over the roast beef.

  9. Place the roast beef in the preheated oven and cook for 10 minutes.
