Ingredients

  • 2 kg Beef Roast
  • 250 ml Beef Broth
  • 10 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 Sprigs Rosemary
  • 2 tsp Thyme
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Optional: Juice of 1 lemon

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C.
  2. Rub the roast with the olive oil and season it with salt, pepper, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, bay leaves and lemon juice (if using).
  3. Put the roast in a roasting pan and pour in the beef broth.
  4. Place the roasting pan in the preheated oven and bake for 2 hours or until the internal temperature of the roast is 75°C.
  5. Let the roast rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
