Recommended Sides
Rösti pairs wonderfully with a side of steamed vegetables or a simple salad for a complete and nutritious meal.
For the picky eaters, try making a cheese sauce for dipping. Begin by making a roux in a small saucepan: melt 2 tablespoons butter over medium-high heat, then whisk in 2 tablespoons flour until it’s light brown in color. Gradually add 1 cup milk, whisking constantly until it’s thick and creamy. Season with salt and pepper and stir in 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese. Serve alongside the rösti and enjoy!
