Ingredients

  • 200g paneer, cubed
  • 200g spinach, washed and chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp oil

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and minced garlic. Saute until the onions are translucent.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
  4. Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Stir well to combine.
  5. Add chopped spinach to the pan and cook until wilted.
  6. Remove the pan from heat and let the mixture cool down.
  7. Once cooled, blend the mixture into a smooth puree using a blender.
  8. Return the puree to the pan and add the cubed paneer. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  9. Serve the Palak Paneer warm with rice or roti.
