Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted almonds
  • ¼ cup unsalted pistachios
  • Juice of 1/2 a lemon
  • 2 teaspoons rose water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons ground cardamom
  • 2 tablespoons sliced blanched almonds, to garnish

Directions

  1. Put the milk, almonds and pistachios in a food processor and process until they are well blended.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the ground milk and nut mixture with the lemon juice, rose water, cornstarch, honey and cardamom. Stir and heat over low heat until thickened.
  3. Remove from heat and divide mixture into four serving bowls.
  4. Garnish each bowl with some of the sliced blanched almonds.
  5. Serve warm to your little one! (Be warned, be prepared for a little mess!)
