Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts (approx. 500g)
  • 2 lemon slices
  • 1 teaspoon of thyme
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 60ml of white wine
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.

  2. Wash and pat dry the chicken breasts with kitchen paper towels.

  3. Place the chicken on a baking pan.

  4. Peel and crush the garlic clove with a garlic press and spread it onto the tops of the chicken breasts.

  5. Place the lemon slices on the chicken.

  6. Sprinkle the thyme over the chicken.

  7. Drizzle the olive oil and white wine over the chicken and place the pan in the oven.

  8. Bake the chicken in the oven for about 40-45 minutesor until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the chicken reads 73°C.

  9. Take the chicken out of the oven and season with black pepper.
