Ingredients

  • 250 grams white cabbage
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds

Directions

  1. Begin by finely slicing the cabbage into thin strips.
  2. In a small pan, heat the vegetable oil over a low-medium heat.
  3. Peel and finely dice the onion, then add into the pan with the oil and heat until lightly golden.
  4. Add the sliced cabbage to the onion in the pan and stir occasionally.
  5. Add the white vinegar and caraway seeds to the pan and stir to combine.
  6. Cover the pan with a lid and leave to simmer over a low heat for 10-12 minutes until the cabbage has softened.
  7. Serve the Kohlriesling warm!
