Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons (60ml) olive oil
  • 4 slices (100g) of swiss cheese
  • 1 pork loin (500g) cut into 8 thin slices
  • 4 slices (100g) of white bread
  • 40g all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 40g panko bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper for seasoning

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius).
  2. Place the pork slices in a bowl season with salt and pepper and lightly coat with the flour.
  3. Beat two eggs in a separate bowl and take the second bowl with the panko bread crumbs.
  4. Dip the pork’s frock in the egg and then coat the pork with the breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat up a large pan with 4 tablespoons (60ml) of olive oil over medium heat. Be careful don’t burn yourself!
  6. Place the pork slices in the pan and cook on each side until golden brown should take around 3-5 minutes PER side.
  7. Place the cooked pork slices on a parchment lined baking sheet and top each individual pork slice with a slice of swiss cheese.
  8. Bake in the oven for another 7 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Toast the bread until lightly golden.
  10. Spread mayonnaise or your favorite condiment onto one side of each slice of bread.
  11. Assemble the sandwiches by adding a pork slice and cheese to each piece of bread. Enjoy!
