Ingredients

  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 4 pieces of kaiser rolls with crusts

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 °F (177°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix together the egg whites, baking powder, and flour until you have a smooth batter.

  3. Grease a large baking sheet with the vegetable oil, and spread the batter on to it with a spatula.

  4. Sprinkle the ground cinnamon on the batter.

  5. Cut the Kaiser rolls into quarters and add them to the baking sheet.

  6. Place the sheet into the preheated oven for 10 minutes.

  7. When the kaiserschlecker is done, remove from oven and spread butter on top.
