Ingredients
- 2 cups of plain yogurt (unsweetened)
- 1 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of chickpea flour (besan)

Directions
- In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt and chickpea flour until well combined. Add water and whisk until smooth.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds before adding turmeric powder.
- Pour the yogurt mixture into the hot pan, stirring constantly to prevent lumps from forming. Keep stirring until the mixture thickens and starts bubbling.
- Reduce heat to low and continue cooking for about 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. If the Kadhi becomes too thick, add a little more water.
- Season with salt to taste and turn off the heat. Serve hot with some steamed rice or roti (Indian flatbread).
