Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons clarified butter (ghee)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (Jeera)
- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
- 3 tablespoons green peas
- 1 teaspoon garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- ¼ teaspoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
- Salt to taste
Directions
- Heat a pan or heavy bottomed pot over medium heat.
- Add ghee to the pan and let it melt.
- Add the jeera and fry for 1 minute.
- Add the potatoes, green peas, garlic paste, ginger paste, turmeric and garam masala. Stir to combine.
- Cover the pan and reduce heat to medium low. Cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the cilantro and salt to taste. Cover and cook for 5 more minutes.
- Serve hot with chapathi or steamed rice.
