Ingredients:
- 120g cooked ham, diced
- 400g minced beef
- 30g plain flour
- 100ml white wine
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 500g potatoes, thinly sliced
- freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
- In a bowl, combine the ham, beef, flour, white wine, egg, breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic and pepper. Mix until you have a firm, but malleable mixture.
- Take a teaspoon of the beef mixture and form into a round patty. Continue until all the mixture is used up.
- In an oven-proof dish, spread half of the potatoes over the bottom. Add the patties, forming a single layer. Top with the remaining potatoes.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top and season with freshly ground pepper.
- Place in preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the patties are cooked through.
