Ingredients

  • 4 pork cutlets, trimmed and pounded (420 g)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60 g)
  • 2 eggs, whisked (110 g)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (70 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground garlic powder (1.25 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger powder (1.25 g)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (1.25 g)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil (60 ml)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
  2. Place each pork cutlet between two pieces of plastic wrap and lightly pound them with a rolling pin. This will help to tenderize the pork and make it easier to cook.
  3. Place the flour in one shallow dish, the eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, ginger powder, and pepper in a third.
  4. Dip each pork cutlet in the flour, then the egg, then the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure each cutlet is evenly coated before moving on to the next cutlet.
  5. Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and carefully place the cutlets in the pan. Fry for about three minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the fried cutlets to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. This will help to make sure they’re cooked through and crispy.
  7. Enjoy while hot!
