Ingredients
- 4 pork cutlets, trimmed and pounded (420 g)
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (60 g)
- 2 eggs, whisked (110 g)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (70 g)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground garlic powder (1.25 g)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger powder (1.25 g)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper (1.25 g)
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil (60 ml)
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C).
- Place each pork cutlet between two pieces of plastic wrap and lightly pound them with a rolling pin. This will help to tenderize the pork and make it easier to cook.
- Place the flour in one shallow dish, the eggs in another, and the breadcrumbs, garlic powder, ginger powder, and pepper in a third.
- Dip each pork cutlet in the flour, then the egg, then the breadcrumb mixture. Make sure each cutlet is evenly coated before moving on to the next cutlet.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat and carefully place the cutlets in the pan. Fry for about three minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Transfer the fried cutlets to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. This will help to make sure they’re cooked through and crispy.
- Enjoy while hot!
