INGREDIENTS
- 2 large potatoes
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celcius.
- Wash the potatoes very well to ensure all dirt particles are off.
- Thoroughly dry the potatoes off - the starchiness will help the fries crisp up even more.
- Cut each potato into 1/2 cm thick slices.
- Put the slices into a large bowl and drizzle with the olive oil.
- Sprinkle the black pepper and garlic powder all over the slices.
- Toss the slices until they’re evenly mixed.
- Place the slices onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake in the oven for 30 minutes, turning them over halfway through cooking to ensure they cook evenly.
