Ingredients
- 4tbsp Water
- 4 medium Gala apples
- 1 Cinnamon stick (4-5cm in length)
- 8 Small cloves
- 2 Allspice
- 25ml Lemon juice

- Peel the apples, discard the peel. Core the apples, then chop them into small pieces roughly 1-2 centimeters in size.

- On medium high heat, let it simmer until the liquid has reduced in half, stirring occasionally.
- Once the compote has thickened and the apples have softened, turn the heat off and stir in the lemon juice.
