Ingredients

  • 1 canned chickpeas (540 ml), drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 small garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 C).
  2. Spread the chickpeas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with oregano and black pepper.
  4. Roast the chickpeas for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. After the chickpeas are roasted, transfer them to a large bowl.
  6. Add the garlic, lemon juice and toss to combine.
