Ingredients
- 250g full-fat ricotta cheese
- 50ml milk
- 50g butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 60g chopped cashews
- 30g desiccated coconut
- 2 cardamom pods
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 180℃
- In a food processor combine the ricotta cheese, milk, butter, and honey. Process until all the ingredients are mixed together into a creamy paste.
- Empty the paste into a bowl.
- Mix in the chopped cashews and desiccated coconut.
- Split open the cardamom pods and add the contents to the mixture.
- Grease a baking tray with butter.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared tray and smooth it out.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
- Cut the Barfi into desired shapes and enjoy!
