Ingredients

  • 250g full-fat ricotta cheese
  • 50ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 60g chopped cashews
  • 30g desiccated coconut
  • 2 cardamom pods

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180℃
  2. In a food processor combine the ricotta cheese, milk, butter, and honey. Process until all the ingredients are mixed together into a creamy paste.
  3. Empty the paste into a bowl.
  4. Mix in the chopped cashews and desiccated coconut.
  5. Split open the cardamom pods and add the contents to the mixture.
  6. Grease a baking tray with butter.
  7. Spread the mixture into the prepared tray and smooth it out.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  9. After 15 minutes, remove the tray from the oven and set aside to cool for 10 minutes.
  10. Cut the Barfi into desired shapes and enjoy!
