Ingredients

  • 375g firm tofu, drained and cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons finely diced ginger
  • 3 tablespoons gluten-free soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400℉).
  2. Place the cubes of tofu onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake for 10-15 minutes until the tofu is golden.
  4. Heat the vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  5. Add the garlic and ginger, and sauté until they are fragrant.
  6. Stir in the soy sauce and black pepper.
  7. Add the sesame oil and remove from the heat.
  8. Add the cubes of tofu and gently stir so that the tofu is evenly coated with the sauce.
  9. Serve the tofu hot with steamed rice or quinoa and your favourite vegetables.
